Mammoth is a Rye IPA, or RIPA if you will, named after a legendary and larger-than-life creature of our past. Rye IPAs are somewhat of a rarity these days; it's easy to forget how complementary their spicy characteristics are with modern hop varieties. Mammoth, brewed in the style of its west coast forebears, pours a mildly translucent orange color with mountains of sticky foam that cling to the glass. The stouts are coming. 📢 You can make some pretty cool beers when you have an extensive set of barrels slumbering and awaiting their moment. Moment of Patience is a blend of fresh Milk Stout and a small portion of its barrel-aged counterpart. It is then conditioned on House-roasted coffee, chocolate, and dark amber maple syrup. It pours pitch black and fills the air with the aroma of chocolate-dipped maple candies and creamy vanilla lattes. Underneath these sweet flavors are hints of oak and bourbon vanilla syrup from the additional thread of Bourbon Barrel-Aged Stout. A little extra time and care go a long way. Farm -> Kettle -> can. Our friends at Coleman Farms in Oregon are some of the first hop growers to initiate geological surveys into their terroir to better understand their craft. The mighty Willamette River cuts through their valley, depositing variations of silt, sand, and clay that lead to wholly unique and expressive profiles found in their hops. The Valley is a Single IPA that explores a single terroir. A blend of Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic carry notes of white grapefruit, boysenberry jam, donut peaches, and hints of pine sap. Hats off to these family farmers, without them beers like this wouldn't be possible.

Our Westy series is making a pit stop at our Farm and Fermentory in Woodstock. Woodstock Westy utilizes a historic blend of Pacific Northwest hops, creating a pleasantly bitter, citrusy, and fruit-forward hop bomb. Poured vigorously, peaks of sticky foam erupt above the rim and leave white switchbacks of lacing cascading down the glass. The Space Between Truths: Further Reaches with Vanilla is a barrel-aged stout consisting of two distinct batches of Truth—one aged 28 months, the other 36 months—which is then blended with a single batch of barrel-aged Space & Time aged 30 months. It was then conditioned on mounds of freshly scoured vanilla beans. The synergy between the chocolate notes of the base beer, the vanilla character of charred American Oak, and the sweet, mellow aroma of fresh vanilla beans is something to behold. We'll get hops into our beer any way we can: pellets, extract, whole leaf, and for a brief moment every year, fresh directly from the bine. For this special release, our friends at Four Star Farms @fourstarfarms in Northfield, Massachusetts, sent us literal buckets of fresh Cascade the day of harvest. With the sticky lupulin cones fully intact, we transferred our crisp German Pilsner on top of the bounty.
