Crisp September mornings like this are quite literally the best of the year. One might even say a little Brisk. Brisk is our Marzen that we age on oak; for a style that already feels balanced, this beer pulls out the measuring tape and dots its i's and crosses its t's. Notes of caramel, nutty bread crust, and noble spice end on a wonderful tannic note that feels dry on the palate and primes us for another sip. Crafted for evenings when we pull our long sleeves out of their summer hiatus. She comes around only once a year; enjoy her while she's here.

We make this beer to be shared, by the can or the four-pack. Citra and Nelson hops combine with uplifting notes of fresh-zested oranges, mango juice, white grape, and tropical passion fruit. This is the second batch of the year, which doesn't happen every year. We've been especially enamored with our current blend of these two legendary hops; we hope you get a chance to try it. We also hope you can take a minute to reflect on what is good and cherished in your days, both big and small.

🌵🌵🌵 Our Paloma is what comes to mind when we think of a simple refreshment. Our agave spirit floats with sweet, mellow notes and crisp carbonation, with a big splash of grapefruit and a dash of simple syrup. Summer is year-round, regardless of latitude.

It’s a sugar-and-spice type of day. 🍬🫚 Treebiotic Ginger Lime Soda is packed with everything you need for a happy gut. Agave inulin, chicory root fiber, and apple cider vinegar are the building blocks of a healthy microbiome, but all you’ll taste is sweet ginger heat and bright citrus. A treat for the body and our taste buds. 🍋‍🟩🫚

Old Man of the Mountain is an American Dark Lager that pours a deep ruby color with a peak of sticky foam. Tettnanger hops lend floral-spicy aromas above notes of roasted malt, a flash of coffee, and a hint of chocolate. It is a brilliant and expressive new lager in our extensive Classic Styles Program. As long as there were people to behold it, a stone face stood watch over Franconia Notch. There was something wonderfully strange about finding a human face in the middle of the White Mountains, a vast expanse of rugged wilderness where, depending on the trail, you might go a long time without seeing another person. In 2003, despite decades of efforts to stave off natural erosion, it collapsed overnight. Yet the legendary relief has left a lasting impression. His face can still be found throughout New Hampshire, on quarters, license plates, and countless other reminders. Nearby, a series of steel profilers acts as a memorial, recreating the illusion of his profile when viewed from a certain angle. It seems to strike a chord within us even now, reminding us we are of this earth, something that is so easy to forget in our modern world. The beautiful artwork on this can comes courtesy of @rmfullerton, a landscape painter from New Hampshire who captures the spirit of the White Mountains in her work. The original painting can be enjoyed in the second slide of this post.

4 photos: We've pulled out all the stops (and added ALL the hops) to celebrate the King's reign.

We've pulled out all the stops (and added ALL the hops) to celebrate the King's reign. 10th Anniversary King JJJuliusss features a hand-selected lot specifically designed to enhance its most expressive qualities, yielding a soft, vivid profile of mango, homemade orange juice popsicles, grapefruit peel, and citrus hard candy. It captures all the qualities we strive for in Tree House style IPAs but amplified to match the monumental occasion. In 2016, we set out to elevate our crown jewel. We wondered if the qualities that defined it- its softness, approachable bitterness, and fluffy mouthfeel- could be pushed further without losing the heart of what made it great. As was often the case in our young brewery, immense pressure sharpened our creativity. It would be impossible to overstate the impact this beer had, and continues to have, on us. At its core, Tree House has always tried to make beers worth looking forward to, beers that can make your day a little better. Get more than a few and make all the days better.

A recent fascination of ours has been the interplay of fresh wood and wood smoke, bringing a complexity that delights rather than overwhelms the palate. Life With Music is a rustic smoked beer aged on oak spirals. This classic Lager pours a deep hazel beneath a robust swell of foam that clings to the glass. Aromas of toffee and toasted biscuit form the foundation, while notes of campfire smoke, smoked honey, and roasted nuttiness drift above the glass. Its time on oak creates a soft body and a tannic finish. Speaking of the woods, the trails behind the brewery in Charlton are a good place to let the mind wander free of external distractions. There comes a point when the mind quiets and the music of the woods enters your awareness.

A King returns to the farm.

A King returns to the farm. King Triple J, as we like to call it, is a beer that's never been easy to come by. With a massive charge of hand-selected hops, it takes Julius's profile to the extreme while still retaining a fluffy mouthfeel and pleasantly bitter finish. Tree House-style IPA at its absolute most sublime - Mango, orange cream, tropical citrus zest, and hints of sweet pineapple burst into the air and follow through to the last sip! We're not messing around this autumn at the farm. It was only a matter of time until some rain clouds found their way into our perfect summer. The season is far from over with fall crops on the horizon, and our fields welcomed a long drink. Our taproom is as cozy as it gets inside our renovated cider house, and when the sun peeks out tomorrow, we'll be ready to take it all in.

3 photos: Here's the plan:

Here's the plan: ✅ Start with the Haze recipe ✅ Scale it down into a super-crushable IPA called Daze ✅ Condition it on buckets of guava purée ✅Fill our fridges with it. ✅Drink all of it.

2 photos: Impermanence returns. 🍁

Impermanence returns. 🍁 This decadent Imperial Milk Stout first presents with a wave of roasty coffee notes and sweet maple as it warms in the glass. If you’ve ever found yourself with a stack of pancakes in front of you, wishing you could pour yourself a glass of maple syrup with no consequences, this is the beer for you. For those of us who have been here since the Monson days, you know we love robust maple flavor. We’ve been refining our process ever since, so you can get your fix in an effortlessly drinkable beer that is readily available and phenomenally delicious.

2 photos: Some indulgence for the long weekend. 🍬🍫🍭

Some indulgence for the long weekend. 🍬🍫🍭 Candy Shop has returned after a very, very long hiatus. As best we can tell, it has been four years... and three years before that! This decadent sipper is an Imperial Milk Stout brewed with coffee, chocolate, caramel, and salted caramel. While it’s surprisingly drinkable for a hefty 9.4%, it carries evolving notes of old-school candies. Farm-fresh fudge, Riesen candies, and coffee hard candy are all folded into its rich, chocolatey body. The candy shop is open. Stop by and grab a taste of nostalgia.

Brooding behind our colorful core releases is Raven, our Black IPA.

Brooding behind our colorful core releases is Raven, our Black IPA. Simcoe, Centennial, and Amarillo carry notes of bitter citrus and fresh pine that give way to chocolate and roast. These beers have a lesser-known name, Cascadian Dark Ales, a nod to their origins in the Pacific Northwest. Much more than a mash-up created to satisfy hop seekers, these beers emerged from America's most prolific hop-growing region. These dark beers had their moment in the sun but have fallen out of fashion. We, however, often find ourselves craving their distinct body and profile. Ours is crafted with hand-selected hops and cold-conditioned for an exceptionally clean finish. It really is the good stuff.

3 photos: 🌲🔥🌲

🌲🔥🌲 Little Fire Oak is a malty yet crisp Helles Lager, bookended by the bounty of the forest. A vigorous pour creates a mountain of sticky foam and propels notes of fresh-baked bread, a hint of noble spice, and wisps of campfire smoke into the air. Following behind its crushable body is a dry, tannic finish that pulls us back for another sip. Beers like this take their time in the conditioning process, but once they’re at their peak, my, do they go down easy. Pure lager magic.

3 photos: The season of Pumpkin Spice everything is upon us🎃☕️

The season of Pumpkin Spice everything is upon us🎃☕️ We are not 👏 going to pretend 👏 that pumpkin spice isn’t delicious. 👏 Especially when our coffee team makes it from scratch! Here, we use real vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, clove, pumpkin purée, and fresh-grated ginger for our seasonal syrup. The combination of fresh ginger and whole spices, crushed just before being folded into our brown sugar syrup, makes one of the most familiar fall flavors taste like the first time you ever tasted it. Run, don't walk. 🎃🏃🏼

We've given Monochrome a celebratory coat for our roastery's seventh anniversary. Our flagship Cold Brew carries roasty notes of homemade fudge and toasted walnuts with a crisp finish. It embodies the ideal of Tree House - delightfully delicious, highly drinkable beverages presented freshly and brightly. Get it! Freshly roasted coffee is extracted, packaged fresh, and kept ice cold. It’s the coffee we reach for instinctively every morning, that earns our attention with its layers of flavor and snappy profile.

Summer ain’t over as long as Zesty is in stock, OKAY.

Summer ain’t over as long as Zesty is in stock, OKAY. Zesty is a Pale Lager that bursts with notes of fresh-zested Makrut lime, bright Buddha’s hand, fresh lemongrass, and sweet Meyer lemon juice, all pulled from a special blend of hops. A decade ago, Motueka was hard to come by, which is one of the reasons we started traveling to the source to select our favorite crops. Zumo, on the other hand, didn’t even exist yet. It’s worth mentioning because this is the kind of Lager we wish we’d had at every party we’ve ever been to. 🌊🍋‍🟩🍋

September Citrus is a rendition of our Double IPA, September Sun, conditioned on orange purée! We hop it with El Dorado, Mandarina Bavaria, Citra, and Motueka and ferment it with our distinctive House yeast. This blend is really something special. It captures some of the most distinctive properties of each hop’s region: berry and citrus from the Pacific Northwest, sweet, floral fruitiness from Germany, and the intense tropicality of New Zealand. A good September, indeed.

Long Shadows is our Hoppy Festbier. Dry-hopped with two noble varieties, Hallertau and Spalter Select, it leads with aromas of noble spice and floral apple orchards before subtle notes of toffee, rustic crackers, and honey-glazed bread crust. With fall on the horizon, we’re already thinking of good food, warm fires, and cozy beers, all the things we turn to for comfort as we say goodbye to the warmest days. This special, uniquely Tree House take on a German seasonal is bright and crisp enough for warm September days while carrying lovely malty notes for the ever-quickening setting sun.

It’s not here often, but it’s a defining beer for us. Ma is our hoppy Amber and one of our most approachable, surprisingly hazy offerings. Citrus, pine, and stone fruit meet pleasant malty sweetness with a balanced, hoppy finish. For Ma.👵🏻🍪

3 photos: And suddenly, September is here.

And suddenly, September is here. September Sun is a Double IPA brewed for the golden hour of the year. We hop it with a mouthwatering blend of El Dorado, Mandarina Bavaria, Citra, and Motueka, then ferment it with our distinctive House yeast. We taste an evolving array of tropical notes, including Yūbari melon, overripe papaya, orange flesh, and pineapple. In September, you stop hiding from the sun and start looking for it, and after twelve years with her, I know where to look. For Lauren.

3 photos: A beer well traveled. ⛰️🌾

A beer well traveled. ⛰️🌾 East Hill is a Pale Ale brewed to remember our days in rural Monson. It's soft and bright, with notes of orange, underripe pineapple, and lemon-lime. We brewed it with Citra, Galaxy, and Simcoe, the three hops that are a cornerstone of our hoppy beers. It takes us back, and it shows us how far we've come. Your support has made us better brewers than we ever imagined. The same hops are now selected by hand, down to the field they grew in, from our favorite growers around the world. Many years down the path, we're still not satisfied. Not even close.

3 photos: Whisper arrives ahead of the changing leaves and the mild weather of a plentiful autumn.

Whisper arrives ahead of the changing leaves and the mild weather of a plentiful autumn. Our Oktoberfest is brewed with traditional malts, conditioned slowly and cold, and is equally complex and crushable. Hints of honey, caramel, and toasted bread are balanced by a crisp body and a kiss of noble hops.🍂🍂🍂 "Think of a world of no fall no gravity calling downward, homeward, bringing all by the light uprisen down to rest in the resting land – a world, instead, where all that dies would fly upward and outward, nameless and alone. How sterile then would be the earth, seasonless the year." - Wendell Berry

This coffee also goes into our 7th Anniversary Blend Cold Brew, bright with notes of cola and juicy blackberry. We blended several heirloom varieties grown in an experimental garden on the Aquiares Estate. The plot was planted to trial them side by side and includes SL34, Gesha, Typica, and Bourbon, all under the same shade, soil, and rainfall. Each variety went through the red honey process before we brought them together. This coffee is an expression of Aquiares terroir. Diego Robelo, who grows it, says this is his favorite clean everyday coffee. Brewed hot or poured cold, seven years never tasted so good.
