Brisk is our German-style Oktoberfest lager conditioned in oak until perfectly softened. Brewed with German Pilsner, Munich, Cara Munich, and Vienna malts, it is fermented cool with a traditional Märzen yeast and then transferred to our horizontal oak lagering tank for extended refinement and conditioning.
Notes of grain, hops and oak. Feels crisp and light.

Crisp September mornings like this are quite literally the best of the year. One might even say a little Brisk. Brisk is our Marzen that we age on oak; for a style that already feels balanced, this beer pulls out the measuring tape and dots its i's and crosses its t's. Notes of caramel, nutty bread crust, and noble spice end on a wonderful tannic note that feels dry on the palate and primes us for another sip. Crafted for evenings when we pull our long sleeves out of their summer hiatus. She comes around only once a year; enjoy her while she's here.
One of our favorite seasonal Lagers has (finally) finished conditioning, and we're so excited to send it back out into the world. Brisk is our Märzen that we rest on oak, giving its complex malty caramel notes, a flash of tannic oak, and an incredibly dry and balanced finish. When we get to put a historical style like this in one of our wooden vessels, you just feel like you're doing right by the beer.
