Eternally Curious. Curiosity 159 uses a distinctive New Zealand variety, Superdelic, which is rife with nostalgic, mouthwatering aromas. It’s a trip to the candy store, with notes of grape bubblegum, raspberry push pops, pineapple hard candies, and lime peel jumping from the glass. But like all things, a secondhand account pales in comparison to the real thing. We hope you snag a few cans and find out for yourself. As always, our longtime collaborator @keever graced us with the artwork, reminding us of the warm days ahead. Signs of spring abound.

Motuere Magic is a rarity in our line of Southern Hemisphere Double IPAs. It features Riwaka, Nelson, and Rakau from this region, lots we hand-select as we travel from farm to farm. The landscape depicted on this can is something of a utopian dream. Cerulean waters give way to rolling hills and lush forests. Dotting this fertile landscape are towns that welcome weary travelers and hop farms tucked away in its valleys. There is a great deal of magic left in the world, something that becomes quite obvious every time we are lucky enough to traverse the Motuere region.
Of course, canning the magic goes without saying.
Restless is our Weizenbock, a hybrid of styles that uses a heavy wheat addition to a strong, rich Bock profile. Carrying a pleasant carbonation, notes of banana, clove, rustic farm bread, and melted caramel wash over the palate. Germany has long been the breadbasket of Europe, so it is no wonder that a rich, malty style such as Bock would be pushed even further with luscious wheat malts. We crafted this recipe with traditional German malts, modeled after some of our favorite imported Weizenbocks, many of which have been brewed longer than our country has been a country! We just had to package this beauty in traditional 500 ML format. Stay tuned - we're just warming up!
While still a rarity, we will always find a place for Single Shot Vanilla Bean in our ambitious brewing schedule. This beer is easygoing despite its decadence; notes of melted chocolate bars, caramel canelles, and vanilla lattes cascade over the palate with every sip. If you have not had one since the good old days, it is a must-try. Now that it is conditioned on our house-roasted coffee, it carries a depth of flavor we could have only dreamed of when we first crafted it.

Hey gang, this is your annual reminder that mid-March is the time the frozen cocktail machine gets pulled from the catacombs in Charlton and revived to make the sweet, fulfilling summer sippers you've been dreaming about all winter long. What are you waiting for?
Land of the Long White Cloud is a special entry in our New Zealand Double IPAs. It relies heavily on Peacharine hops, which continue to astound us with their potent stone fruit and tropical notes. When we first crafted this beer, it felt like a mirror version of a Tree House-style DIPA. The body, texture, and soft finish were familiar, but it carried a wholly unique fruit-forward character. The hops themselves can truly make all the difference. These lots of Peacharine were sampled in the field, freshly picked, and again during packaging. A unique and highly valuable attribute of Freestyle's workflow is that it forgoes baling in favor of instant pelletization. They are the only farm in the world we know of that pelletizes directly. This eliminates potential oxidation that can occur during the baling step at other facilities. That's not to say this oxidation is excessive or harmful elsewhere. It simply means that Freestyle, like Tree House, is committed to eliminating any variable that could harm its product, even if it means accepting costly inefficiencies. Hats off to these kindred spirits and masters of their craft.
Trail Garston Cascade is a beer unlike anything else we make. It's a concise expression of the brewery we've worked so hard to become. Beneath a wave of tropical citrus and pine lies a zippy Pilsner that snaps into a clean finish after its hoppy introduction. Cascade is an American legend, bred in the 1950s and eventually finding a welcome home in the fledgling craft beer movement of the 1980s. Its citrus and pine character played a significant role in shaping a distinctly American hop profile and acclimating palates worldwide to a new kind of hoppy beer. You can imagine our excitement when we stumbled across Garston Hop Farm in New Zealand and tried their Cascade so far from its home on the American West Coast. Its character was at once familiar, yet deeply influenced by their terroir and techniques. Meeting growers in person and trying their hops off the bine helps us understand the intention behind their decisions in the field each growing season. Connecting the dots between how a hop expresses itself in the field and how it translates into a finished beer is one of the most important things we do. It has been an honor to be the first brewery to utilize their incredible Cascade. It brings us back to that first meeting every time we pop a can open.

A nice little treat of a 4-pack hiding across the land this week: Julius and a few of its brethren. 👉🏻Smooth 👉🏻Orange You Glad 👉🏻Oasis 👉🏻Julius Should be around in Boston, Charlton, Deerfield, Sandwich, Saratoga, and Tewksbury this week!
Shiny is a Double IPA utilizing a bright and tropical blend of New Zealand hops! Nelson, Paradisi, and a touch of Manalita pop with notes of papaya, red berry jam, lychee juice, and vanilla cream. The world is full of common pulls. This isn't one of them. If it sparkles when you look at it, trust your eyes and your palate.
Spring returns this week, a welcome change we honor with our seasonal Double IPA. This beer captures the change of season in a profile that is at once intensely hoppy and incredibly soft and juicy. While recurring seasonals such as this are not simply re-brewed, they are endlessly refined through process tweaks and careful hop blending in hopes of creating a better version than we remember. You can expect rich flavors of overripe tropical fruit akin to fresh-pressed guava, mango, papaya, passion fruit, and intense citrus. It is the only remaining seasonal beer that never enjoyed a proper can - until today. @keever . . . Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air, are heading home again. Whoever you are, no matter how lonely, the world offers itself to your imagination, calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting -- over and over announcing your place in the family of things. - Mary Oliver
Silver Fern is our flagship endeavor to bring the flavors of fresh hops from the other side of the world into your home. This beer features Peacharine, Waimea, Nelson, and Motueka, which burst with notes of stone fruit, limeade, white grape, and passionfruit. What sets hoppy beer apart from so many other fermented beverages is its emphasis on freshness. The moment these hops are picked from the bine, they enter a sophisticated, streamlined system meant to preserve their volatile oils, so that when you pop open the can, you are hit with the same stunning array of flavors we experience in the field. We go to extensive lengths to preserve and perpetuate that experience. Great lengths. Our Fern series transports us back to New Zealand and lets us share it with you.
Paloma combines bright, juicy grapefruit with our agave spirit Casa de Árbol. We go to great lengths to make this sweet, herbaceous, and slightly fruity spirit from scratch, and for good reason. It transforms one of the simplest cocktails into a bubbly delight that a genuine experience every time you crack a can. Fill the fridge with this one folks - summer is coming.
It's your drink of 2026 - fresh Lena Marita is here! When you start with an incredible base spirit, you don't need much else to create something special. Casa de Árbol lime simple syrup = a bubbly refresher you're going to love.
Canned Fresh. Our House Latte moves fast, almost as fast as you when you're on the go. This creamy and roasty delight is ready to kick-start your day or break up your afternoon. Stock up!
Fresh Monochrome - mmm. Crisp as ever, with rich fudgy notes and a hint of walnut. We’re gearing up for Summer Stage Season in a big way - If you’re not already tuned in to @treehouselivemusic , we’d highly recommend it as the early-announced shows have been selling at a brisker pace than in year’s past. In addition to the best place for Summer Stage shows, we’ll also keep you in the loop on location-specific happenings this year, as there are to be many. See you out there friends.
It's a genuine labor of love. Nelson hops are pure magic. Notes of gooseberry, white wine, kiwi, earthy citrus, and ripe apricot burst from the can. These flavors are so pungent and distinctive it still stuns us that a single variety can contain such multitudes. Tranquility is our Nelson Double IPA, and it's a beer that gets better every year. Our relationships with hop growers across New Zealand allow us to home in on the characteristics that best complement our house yeast and water profile, amplifying the aromas that hooked us on southern hemisphere hops from the get-go. This inaugural batch of the year features a new blend from various farms, rigorously selected to showcase Nelson's distinct profile.
Fruit Cup. What a magnificent little gem of a beer from our ever-growing, not-made-very-often-but-should-be collection of rotational beers. Crafted with a selection of crystal malts that create a light, subtly sweet base, Citra and Vista hops combine to deliver flavors of all the fruits. Mandarin orange, honeydew melon, grapefruit, and candied peach flow over the palate within a fluffy body.
Easy Does It is the motto when we're making this crushable Czech Pale Lager. This delicate entry into our classic-style program received a heavy dose of carbonation via spunding, a process in which the tank is sealed and set to a specific pressure, allowing the trapped CO2 to dissolve back into the beer and creating a fine, natural carbonation. It's perhaps not the easiest way to do things, but it is definitely the best. Moved slowly and conditioned with the utmost patience, this is a beer that adheres to its own schedule. The little brother to Czech Pilsners, Czech Pale Lagers are a mildly hoppy, balanced beer crafted for refreshment and quaffability.
Grapefruit Seltzer, aka the workday 4-pack. (It's actually awesome with Percy's Gin when it hits 5 o'clock, too)
Mangrove is our combo that introduces sweet New England peaches to tropical mangoes. Real fruit, real color, real satisfaction - wweet, bubbly deliciousness!

Orange you glad it's Friday? Orange You Glad is Julius conditioned on orange purée! It boosts Julius's already potent hoppy citrus character with layers of juicy orange sweetness and eye-popping zest.
👑✈️🏝️ The King in all shapes and sizes. King Mango Creamsicle is our hop-saturated King Julius conditioned on sticky mango purée and mounds of fresh vanilla beans. It bursts with notes of orange-vanilla creamsicle pops and mango smoothies while still retaining a hoppy bite.
You've been struck by a Smooth batch of Julius. A hearty welcome back to the origins of our quest to blend the fluffy, creamy texture of smoothies into IPA form. We diverted a small amount of our fresh batch of Julius and conditioned it on banana purée. It coats the palate with notes of mellow banana custard, ripe mango, orange candies, banana frappé, and citrus zest. You'll either love it or hate it - but if you love it, you'll really, really love it.
A Trail to the other side of the world. Trail Nelson is our snappy German-style Pils dry-hopped with hand-selected Nelson hops. We love the dichotomy of the sweet aromas of white grape and tropical fruit that give way to a crisp lager and a dry floral finish. It's so juicy you might think it doesn’t adhere to the Reinheitsgebot. These are some of the best beers that we make.
Paragon is our espresso-blend cold brew, full of chocolate notes and a wisp of dark berries on the finish. We invite you to take a leap of faith and try what freshly brewed, full-bodied cold brew tastes like at its best. The time change is a welcome sign of spring to come, but the darker mornings require an extra boost. Paragon is here for ya, so you can beat the sun to the chase.

Where have all the red ales gone? Cleona makes its timely return to our coolers, this time with a traditional creamy nitro carbonation! This classic Irish Red Ale is a malty crusher that carries notes of caramel, fresh-baked bread, toffee cake, and a hint of dried fruit from a historical malt bill. The fine bubbles cascade in a vortex as it pours into the glass before settling into a thick head that bobs and buoys as we empty our pints. It's a beer for friendship that turns any table into the coziest corner of a lively pub. Give it a gentle roll and a very aggressive pour. PS - Did you know that Cleona is a relic of the original homebrew days?
