This beer features New Zealand hops: Nelson, Peacharine, Motueka, and Waimea. We taste notes of white grape, floral summer peach, citrus peel and undertones of sweet herbs. New Zealand contains a kaleidoscope of changing landscapes and terrains, each peak and valley offering its own unique world.
Silver Fern is our flagship endeavor to bring the flavors of fresh hops from the other side of the world into your home. This beer features Peacharine, Waimea, Nelson, and Motueka, which burst with notes of stone fruit, limeade, white grape, and passionfruit. What sets hoppy beer apart from so many other fermented beverages is its emphasis on freshness. The moment these hops are picked from the bine, they enter a sophisticated, streamlined system meant to preserve their volatile oils, so that when you pop open the can, you are hit with the same stunning array of flavors we experience in the field. We go to extensive lengths to preserve and perpetuate that experience. Great lengths. Our Fern series transports us back to New Zealand and lets us share it with you.

We love Silver Fern so much that it got its own glass. This beer sparked a torrent of exploration when it was released initially, a trend that has not abated to this day. It's as juicy as they come with a firm punch on the finish. Gobble it up while it's here. #productphotography #productphotodaily #photography #craftbeer #treehousebrewing #beergram #beerstagram #beersandcameras #beerlover #beerbeerbeer #beerme #beergeek #beertography #beernerd #fujifilm #gfx100II @fujifilmx_us@profoto
Portrait of a pallet - air-freighted Peacharine edition. We take unique hoppy beer experiences seriously - not only because we love our work but we’ve come to seriously love how freshly pelletized hops express themselves in finished beer. And so it’s with great delight that it’s now become tradition to cold chain air-freight freshly pelletized Peacharine each year so we can enjoy a singular experience in our New Zealand-centric efforts. These hops almost beat us home (three days too slow) from this year’s selection. They’ve already imparted incredible character in the current batches of Fresh Peach and Silver Fern. We hope you love them.
The beloved Silver Fern has returned with fresh Peacharine right off of the plane. Peahcarine, Waimea, Nelson, and Motueka blend into a tropical storm of flavor. #cooleressentials

The day has come for Silver Fern. We’ve put our hearts into sourcing the best hops possible for this New Zealand icon. You will experience Peacharine, pelletized just four weeks ago and cold air-freighted directly to us in these cans. Additionally, it presents a blend of Waimea, Nelson, and Motueka we hand-selected from our favorite New Zealand hop farms from dozens of prospective lots throughout an arduous two-week in-person selection process. We love this beer and hope that you will, too.

Golden Fern is an amplified version of Silver Fern. It embodies the time, energy, care, diligence, and passion we have poured into our hoppy beer since day one, and it's further propelled by extensive travel this spring to source and locate the best New Zealand-grown hops we could. We are running low on the hops that make up this monster, and we have maybe one more batch between now and the spring harvest. If you love this beer and it's line, don't wait because nothing gold can stay.
To say that our travels to New Zealand have been influential in our recent brewing endeavor would be an understatement. Not only are the hops grown there produce incredible and unique flavors, but they can vary dramatically based on the farm and the wildly different micro-climates experienced on the South Island. It is within this variation that true magic can occur, and we have spent the last several years curating it into a selection of beers that we are so excited about. These are all currently available, as of 11.12.23, but they will not last long, and some may not be made again for a full year due to the difficulty and limited supply of their ingredients. God of the Forest - Select Riwaka + Motueka honoring the largest Kauri tree in New Zealand (and the world) Kia Ora - All New Zealand-grown ingredients, a first on US soil. Combines Riwaka, Pacific Sunrise, and Nelson in a blissful pale ale. Magic of Garston - Magic of Garston features hops exclusively grown at this tiny Southland farm. Hundreds of miles removed from other New Zealand growers, these Garston-grown hops exhibit a character that is unlike anything else. A true double IPA experience. Manuka - Mānuka is a brilliant beer and a testament to Tree House's unwillingness to let raw material costs deter our brewing endeavor. Containing literal buckets of this renowned New Zealand honey, it contains a depth of character that is a true joy. Silver Fern - Peacharine + Nelson + a proprietary blend of New Zealand-grown hops. The gem of our New Zealand-centric lineup. It brings us so much joy to make these beverages. We hope their stories can add to your enjoyment of them. Thank you for reading - have a great Sunday.
Silver Fern. Not much to add here other than we are absolutely delighted to have this beer back. It encapsulates our most cherished recent memories, tastes like nothing we have ever made, and is wildly delicious.
Silver Fern is a Double IPA that encapsulates our entire experience in New Zealand this past March. Nelson, Motueka, Peacharine, and Waimea provide a genuine symphony of tropical hoppy bliss. All crop year 2023 hops are utilized, providing an unparalleled freshness to this remarkable presentation.
