When we travel to New Zealand for hop selection, we traverse the entire island, hopping from farm to farm. The more options, the better. Passion King Creamsicle has returned after a very long hiatus. On its journey to the brite beer cellar for conditioning, we diverted a portion of King Julius and conditioned it on buckets of passionfruit purée and whole vanilla beans. This is hands down one of our favorite tropical riffs on the King. It opens with a blast of bright, tart passionfruit juice, then settles into a smooth, mellow vanilla finish. #passionate
