Cleona is our Irish-style Red, pouring the color of the rising sun. This ale greets the senses with subtle aromas of dark fruit and fresh toffee cake. With our first sip, we taste notes of mild caramel and toasted Irish soda bread stippled with plump raisins.
It was five years ago today, August 18th, 2021, that we first introduced our Classics Bar in Charlton with this photo. That energy now spreads to bars in eight locations across Tree House-land. Pursuing classic styles has a long history at Tree House. Beginning with Old Man, our Extra Special Bitter, and Cleona, our Irish Red Ale, over fifteen years ago, we've been chasing the perfect expression of these styles since our early days of homebrewing in the kitchen. The Classics Bar is home to some of our proudest work. Each beer is a passion project and an expression of our love for brewing and the never-ending search for a perfect pint. It's where you find staff when they punch out, and hopefully where we'll find you soon. See you out there.
Where have all the red ales gone? Cleona makes its timely return to our coolers, this time with a traditional creamy nitro carbonation! This classic Irish Red Ale is a malty crusher that carries notes of caramel, fresh-baked bread, toffee cake, and a hint of dried fruit from a historical malt bill. The fine bubbles cascade in a vortex as it pours into the glass before settling into a thick head that bobs and buoys as we empty our pints. It's a beer for friendship that turns any table into the coziest corner of a lively pub. Give it a gentle roll and a very aggressive pour. PS - Did you know that Cleona is a relic of the original homebrew days?
Perhaps the deepest revival from our past ever, Cleona is seeing our coolers for the first time since 2012. Cleona is our Irish Red brewed in honor of the Celtic goddess of love, beauty and the sea. This easy-drinking ale greets the senses with subtle aromas of dark fruit and fresh toffee cake. With our first sip, we taste notes of mild caramel and toasted Irish soda bread packed with plump raisins. This beer is best when accompanied by a traditional Irish "seisiún" and a toast to our storied past! #productphotography #productphotodaily #photography #craftbeer #treehousebrewing #beergram #beerstagram #beersandcameras #beerlover #beerbeerbeer #beerme #beergeek #beertography #beernerd #fujifilm #gfx100II @fujifilmx_us@profoto
