Little Fire is our super clean and dry Smoked Helles Lager. A small portion of the malt bill for this beer is replaced with smoked malt sourced from Germany, and it makes a world of difference. Little Fire is everything you love about a crisp and malty Helles but with a curious and nostalgic whisp of campfire smoke in the aroma. It's a beer that is wholly fit for the season and complements everything about it. Ending the day's releases with an extra special one illustrated by the inimitable @keever Curiosity 157 uses a blend of Peacharine sourced from various growers across New Zealand. We had the good fortune to be among the first American breweries to import this incredible varietal, and it quickly became an indispensable part of our hoppy offerings. Peacharine has uncanny stone-fruit notes, sometimes leaning toward obvious peach and other times toward nectarine, plum, or apricot. This blend carries a true smattering of these sweet, delicious aromas, and it wouldn't be possible without our brewers traveling in person to these various growers and combing their hop fields for the juiciest lots! At what point is a lot too much? When does the diminishing return of excess rear its head with literal pallets of hops? That's the question we originally set out to answer with our 'Find the Limit' series. We set out not only to identify the perfect level of absurd hop saturation, but also to determine when too much was really enough in a beer. The answer, it seemed, based on your feedback, was Project Find the Limit No. 10. So, we re-brewed it! Today, we are bringing back the tenth iteration of this series, a standout that delivered obscene levels of hop saturation. To achieve this liquid ode to hops, a staggering amount of loss is factored in from the hop absorption from such a massive charge, and the result is a rare expression of hop saturation. We yield about 50 barrels of liquid from a 120-barrel batch, all said and done. 👋🏻 This Friday and Saturday, we’re towing the Tree House trailer of joy to Rochester, NY, full of Tree House goodies, including the iconic Dream Team (🧡💚💜) and a curated selection of mixed packs featuring our beer, coffee, canned cocktails, and seltzer. You will have the opportunity to purchase cans online and snag them during a time slot you will select at checkout. Both pick-up times and inventory will be limited, so if you want to grab some fresh Tree House goodies, act fast. The link will be live at treehousebrew.com at 11 AM Friday and at 9 AM Saturday, and pickup will begin at 12 PM on Friday and 10 AM on Saturday.
