Brewed in the Autumn of 2020 and left to condition naturally for several months in our horizontal stainless tank, Cozy emerged with an overwhelmingly smooth disposition carrying flavors of molten chocolate, caramel, toffee, rich dark fruit, and light coffee. It carries the most marvelous and dense head, an appealing start to the smooth, velvety beer to follow.

Sweater weather heralds the return of Cozy, our Baltic Porter. 🍂🔥 After a long rest in our classic cellar, Cozy emits notes of molten chocolate, caramel, toffee, rich dark fruit, and light coffee. It has a marvelous, dense head and an appealing start to the smooth, velvety beer that follows. This style was originally exported from Britain to mainland Europe, where brewers adapted it to their own lager brewing traditions. Despite its rich flavor, our version stays restrained and crisp, reflecting the style's evolution. And while it doesn't travel far, we let it cold-condition until it's just right. This is a fireplace beer, if ever there was one.
We use 'labor of love' to describe our efforts in the brewery here at Tree House. Cozy, our Baltic Porter, embodies this ideal. It is a strong, dark beer with a velvety smoothness from extended attention and conditioning in our lager cellar.
