Red, White, and Barrel is a yearly tradition! As we gear up for the 4th and our annual fireworks displays, our Barrel Program blended a special stout to pop open with those you love. Brewed with a complex variety of caramel and chocolate malts, Red, White, and Barrel is fermented and conditioned in stainless for over a month before aging in bourbon barrels for two years. After reaching peak saturation, we rest it on blueberry, strawberry, and heaps of fresh vanilla beans. When poured, it resembles syrup in the glass and carries tasting notes of chocolate-covered blueberries and strawberries, chocolate wafer cookies, and oaky vanilla cream. Today, we are releasing a special cider that has been conditioning away in a dark corner of our Fermentory in Woodstock for several years: Cidre de Myrtille Using estate-grown apples, pressed by hand on our farm, this cider was rested in select gin barrels before being further conditioned on whole blueberries. It pours a beautiful blush color with a botanical edge and a subtle flourish of summer berry. A strong hit of acidity makes it juicy and quenching, akin to Basque Country Spanish cider. It's a real adventure in the glass.

Originally released during anniversary season in 2015, Alter Ego represented a deviation from our hop profile, and long before we released it to the public, our little brewery was abuzz. For those of us that were there in the early days of hazy IPA, Mosaic was a big deal. A select few West Coast breweries had access to it when it was still called HBC 369, an intriguing variety touting notes of blueberry, mango, and even black pepper. When we started to experiment with it, we quickly realized the hype was real, and once blended with Amarillo, we quickly had a core-worthy beer. We’ve never lost the excitement of discovery; in fact, there are more experimental varieties than ever before. When we set out to build our distillery's repertoire, we knew we wanted to make a host of agave-based drinks. Importing the proper ingredients and having the know how to utilize them is a rare feat so distant from the plant's southern origin, but we refused to settle for anything less than an in-House product. Paloma is made with our painstakingly crafted agave spirit, Casa de Arbol, and blended with grapefruit and our bubbly house tonic.
