We've enjoyed Citra Many Ways, and today, we get to enjoy it All Ways! For the conclusion of our Citra Many Ways series, we've combined the best Citra from each growing region to present the most rounded and complete expression of this famous hop. Waves of ripe mango and sweet orange dominate the flavor profile, with a fluffy and coating mouthfeel throughout. It's a sublime Citra experience. Pictured on the can is an image the Tree House hop selection team captured in 2021 high up on Mount Rainier. Mount Rainier and other mountains in the Cascade Volcanic Arc hold the water that makes the high desert of Yakima an ideal place to grow hops. #productphotography #productphotodaily #photography #craftbeer #treehousebrewing #beergram #beerstagram #beersandcameras #beerlover #beerbeerbeer #beerme #beergeek #beertography #beernerd #fujifilm #gfx100II @fujifilmx_us @profoto

Today, we continue the 10th Anniversary Juice Machine celebration in each Massachusetts Tree House location with freshly tapped kegs! We only have two kegs in each location, so it is looking like this weekend will be it for the celebratory juice! The pictured glass is always available in each location for you to enjoy your draft in and to take home. It is ten dollars. The project to create it was extensive and the final shape best accentuates our beer. The Tree logo is cast directly into the mold, creating a timeless representation of this familiar icon. Best of all, the glass is incredibly sturdy and can withstand plenty of abuse.

Did you know the word "chocolate" is derived from the Aztec word, xocolatl? The birthplace of cacao resides in Mexico, dating all the way back to the Aztecs and even Montezuma himself. While the Mesoamericans used chocolate for both medicinal purposes and religious rituals, present-day Mexico uses it as a staple ingredient in many famous dishes and beverages, including drinking chocolate, which is known for its decadent blends of chocolate, cinnamon, and ancho chili pepper. Given this history, the coffee team at Tree House wanted to pay homage to our spin on traditional Mexican drinking chocolate. Mexican Mocha Oat Latte is made by infusing Oaxacan cocoa, Mexican vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks, and ancho pepper into a turbinado syrup base before integration into our proprietary oat milk and cold brew concentrate formula. Enjoy a rich, velvety embrace of chocolate notes harmoniously balanced with subtle warming notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ancho: delicious! The sign we’ve been waiting for.

The sign we’ve been waiting for. Upon arriving in Nelson, we stopped to take a moment to reflect and soak in the late summer sun that is responsible for bringing character to the hops we love so much. We’ll spend the next ten days of the trip in this region exploring several hop fields, some familiar, some fascinating, some newly discovered, and some filled with a bit of unexpected adventure. Stay tuned. #nelson #newzealandhops

The day has come for Silver Fern.

The day has come for Silver Fern. We’ve put our hearts into sourcing the best hops possible for this New Zealand icon. You will experience Peacharine, pelletized just four weeks ago and cold air-freighted directly to us in these cans. Additionally, it presents a blend of Waimea, Nelson, and Motueka we hand-selected from our favorite New Zealand hop farms from dozens of prospective lots throughout an arduous two-week in-person selection process. We love this beer and hope that you will, too.

Today, we're releasing a simple little number called Quiet Corner in Woodstock. Carrying hints of wheat, doughy malt, and lemon-like acidity, Quiet Corner is an elegant expression of its constituents and perfectly complements a contemplative afternoon at our farm. #productphotography #productphotodaily #photography #craftbeer #treehousebrewing #beergram #beerstagram #beersandcameras #beerlover #beerbeerbeer #beerme #beergeek #beertography #beernerd #fujifilm #gfx100II @fujifilmx_us @profoto

Before arriving in Nelson, our last stop was a renowned Sauvignon Blanc vineyard, which might seem off-course for a brewery tour. However, there’s a fascinating link to our work and, by extension, to you. The most popular hop in New Zealand, named Nelson Sauvin, draws its name from its striking resemblance to the Sauvignon Blanc grape. This connection made it essential for us to experience these grapes firsthand. Like hops, Sauvignon Blanc grapes profoundly reflect the environmental conditions in which they are grown. For example, grapes from Bordeaux differ vastly from those grown in New Zealand’s Marlborough Region, so much so that they seem like different varieties altogether. Understanding these environmental influences is crucial as they mirror the regional characteristics found in hops that we so often speak about. Wine Country was another quick stop, but it was one whose takeaways will energize and inform our work for many years. Stay tuned - our next stop is the legendary hop fields of Nelson.

The Prodigal Haze Part IV combines Citra, Nelson, Rakau, and fresh 2024 Peacharine to create a symphony of tropical fruit flavor. Brewed with pale malt and a hint of extra light caramel malt, it has a hefty malt body that balances and propels the nearly eight-pound-per-barrel dry hop. In addition, a new cool steeping procedure was utilized following the hot side brewing process. Pouring a hazy, deep yellow color into your glass, it explodes on the palate with fresh summer stone fruit, juicy orange, mango nectar, and sweet passion fruit. It finishes softly with minimal alcohol presence, enticing your next sip. We find the best beers to be just as enjoyable at the end of your glass as at the beginning, and The Prodigal Haze Part IV embodies this ideal beautifully.

Today in Tewksbury, we are pleased to introduce our hand-crafted cocktail program. We’ve focused intently on creating cocktails of distinction and elegance that elevate familiar drinks with original spirits by @treehousedistillery and unexpected accents that add depth and character to each drink. In our Espresso Martini you will find a base of KOLA, our coffee liqueur. Kola begins its journey as a coffee liqueur unlike any other, with a single malt stout mash fermented clean and then distilled to a sweet cocoa and vanilla-forward spirit. Following its time in the still, Kola is laid to condition atop freshly sliced vanilla beans and a potent infusion of custom House-roasted and extracted cold brew from our roastery. From there, we use House Vodka, distilled from locally grown and malted barley, a dash of Monochrome cold brew concentrate, and house simple syrup to round out the Tree House Espresso Martini. In Juicelius, the Richley Rum Blanc, orange juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup provide a juicy base for the ultimate novel finisher - a foam of fresh Julius. This treatment is what sets this cocktail apart. That familiar blast of unique overripe orange flavor from Julius hits perfectly on top of the mouthwatering cocktail below. Lastly, the highlight of the Tree House Bloody Mary is our pickle Gin, the Big Pickle! This invention brings a hearty savory note to the base of flavor that make this cocktail irresistible no matter what time of day. We look forward to serving you a proper drink. Service is currently available Friday - Sunday with expanded hours soon.

It would be hard to overstate the importance of Juice Machine to our progression as brewers here at Tree House. Its name was born from the namesake of our homebrew setup almost fifteen years ago. Though the beer is a mere decade old, the idea traces back much earlier. Originally devised when overtly juicy IPA was a nascent concept, Juice Machine remains ahead of its time. Utilizing a unique hop blend, this beer is a pure cornucopia of hoppy goodness, ranging from pure tropical hop juiciness to tongue-coating citrus. To celebrate its Tenth Anniversary, we’ve added our best Peacharine selections from the 2024 New Zealand crop, pelletized less than a month ago, to this mess of hop goodness. Let’s raise a glass to celebrate the past while we look forward to a bright future together. The can is as attractive as the liquid inside. The label, embossed in gold on a black can with a gold lid, gives the Juice the stately treatment it deserves. It will be available at all Massachusetts Tree House locations starting today until it’s gone, gone, gone.
