The Greenest Green is our latest endeavor to push the envelope of Green to new heights. Featuring a layered hop approach and drawing from the lessons learned in our Find the Limit series, The Greenest Green is ridiculously hop saturated yet flavorful on the palate.
Green 📈💚 The Greenest Green hits with overwhelming notes of pineapple and tropical fruit from a massive dry-hop. Finishing with a sharp but short-lived bitterness, it retains beautiful balance in spite of the hop onslaught it brings. Somewhere along the line in our Find the Limit series, we made a note to ourselves that went something like, “Green!!!!!” We were in the thick of exploring the limits of hop saturation and realized that, with certain blends and pounds per barrel, the hoppy notes fell right between a fresh bag of hops and super-sweet, overripe pineapple. We stand by all five exclamation points.
The Greenest Green's tropical aroma gets a dose of real thing. . . we took a small portion of the base beer and conditioned it on buckets of pineapple purée! You'd have to be insane or a genius to think the Greenest Green needs more of a pineapple kick. We are open to both; either way, you're going to love it.
The Greenest Green! If you look at our core line of beers and all you see is Green, this beer is for you. Hopped until it becomes indistinguishable from ripe pineapple, it’s the utmost expression of Australian Galaxy hops. A few years back, we started one of our most ambitious projects in the brewhouse: the Find the Limit series, where we increased the hopping regimen to find the threshold of hoppiness. Each successive batch created more loss (beer absorbed by the hop plant matter) until more than half of our original knockout was lost to the hops. It could have easily been done in small experimental batches, but we wanted to bring everyone along for the ride. Our fans are hop fanatics, homebrewers, and beer aficionados who deserve to experience the journey together. Progress on the The Greenest Green was made possible from lessons learned in that series: how to fully saturate a beer, where the line between bitter and vegetal takeover sits, and how to introduce a massive charge from the kettle through subsequent stages of fermentation. It's something else man.
This is a little number we make called Greenest Green. 💚 💚 💚 💚 💚 💚 It's insanely juicy and hop-saturated. In other words, it's the greenest green we make. #productphotography #productphotodaily #photography #craftbeer #treehousebrewing #beergram #beerstagram #beersandcameras #beerlover #beerbeerbeer #beerme #beergeek #beertography #beernerd #fujifilm #gfx100II @fujifilmx_us@profoto
