1.13.23

1.13.23 Sometimes you make the joke enough times that the joke becomes a reality. Despite its playful nature, Wafflebanger is carefully constructed from its constituents: House Double IPA process, Grade A Maple Syrup, and hand-selected blueberry-forward Mosaic hop. Wafflebanger presents with whispers of sweet maple intertwining with layers of rich blueberry-like hop complexity. It's a fun beer we are pleased to share with you today! . . . … one note that a labeling mishap resulted in the even more elusive Pancake Banger gracing the cans that made it to Sandwich, Deerfield, and Tewksbury this morning. Seriously though, some, but not all, Wafflebanger cans have pancakes on them. 🥞 It's described accurately!

1.13.23 Double Baked is an amazingly delicious, amazing complex barleywine whose journey is quite the story. Please read on to learn about this one-of-a-kind beer that has been over a year and a half in the making. It begins as Tree of Life aged in Buffalo Trace and Wild Turkey barrels for 1 year, blended together, then re-barreled into several different apple brandy barrels for an additional three months. It is then reblended with a Tree of Life Rum aged in a rum barrel for 15 months. The rum barrel rendition carries many caramel characteristics that support the apple character from the brandy blend. Finally, we blend in a small thread of Weizenbock that was aged in an orange bitters barrel for fourteen months. This barrel and its hefeweizen yeast add warming spice aromas and flavors throughout. Indulge in a rich and complex blend of caramel, apple, and holiday spices, all supported by a robust barrel character in this wholly unique offering. This is an imaginative, inventive beer that provides a new experience in the realm of barleywine. We hope that you enjoy it as much as we do.

1.11.23

1.11.23 Today in Charlton, we are pleased to debut Berry Bliss, a mixed fermentation ale brewed with spelt, triticale, and white wheat aged 7 months in toasted oak barrels. It is then conditioned for an additional month on a blend of @treehousefermentory red raspberries, black raspberries, and blackberries. The vibrant berry character is, well... blissful! It represents an authentic taste of place with intensely jammy notes, mild funk, and mild acidity, making for an all-around pleasant drinking experience that incorporates true native terroir. It's not overbearing in any way, carrying a beautiful balance and elegant appeal. Having planted, cared for, and harvested these berries ourselves makes this beer especially fulfilling for us - we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

1.11.23 Today we are pleased to introduce a brand new beer that we hope will stick around as a familiar core brand in our line-up. We have called it Jubilee! The reason for this stature is simple - this beer's taste, texture, and appeal hits heights that few others in our line-up do. One of the primary reasons for this is that in addition to our House IPA process, it contains Peacharine hops from our friends at Freestyle Hops in New Zealand. Peacharine is a novel hop with a bright future, in our opinion. Vivid stone fruit and citrus notes abound! Though it is hopped extremely intensively, we have priced Jubilee in line with other core beers with the hope that it can come around regularly for your enjoyment. Jubilee beautifully demonstrates our relentless desire to improve, seek out what’s new, and continue to offer you fresh, inventive, original beverages for your enjoyment. We hope you love it as much as we do. It is available everywhere that we sell beer today.

1.11.23 Lights Out is a historic Tree House pale ale and one of our most nostalgic beers. It is light-bodied, full-flavored, and absolutely delicious all the way through the glass. The label was made on the brew deck the evening before the original canning run. . . not our best effort, but one that definitely stuck!

Pouring a glowing yellow color into the glass, it carries notes of ripe citrus, pineapple, and mild funk atop a pleasantly effervescent body.

1.6.23 @eggymusic hype for Saturday! This label is the real deal and we’ll be serving Julius cans graced with it for the show on Saturday and in limited quantities to go. The full music schedule for this weekend’s festivities is posted. Note that entry is first-come, first served. Like any business, we have an occupancy limit, which, if reached, may mean you may have to wait for entry. We do not expect to reach maximum occupancy; we just need to put this out there for an unticketed party. Let’s have fun!

1.6.23 Double Shot Estrellita features our direct trade single-origin House coffee in spades. A novel coffee that is responsibly grown by our friends Pablo & Eva Del Cid in Guatemala, we could not be more excited to see it find it's way into a batch of Double Shot! Tree House supported Finca El Jardin directly by purchasing their eco-friendly wet mill. Sublime.

1.5.23

1.5.23 Photography has always been an integral part of our endeavor at Tree House Brewing Company. We have produced a video introducing you to Cody, who since February of 2022 has been in charge of the photography program at Tree House and produced some incredible, industry-leading work in that time. Before his transition to photographer, Cody spent years learning the craft of brewing by working in the cellar first and then as a brewer. With the knowledge of the energy required behind the scenes to make Tree House beer, and a true passion for photography, there is no better person to represent the fruit of that work for the public to enjoy. We hope you will take a minute to learn about the energy and urgency required to produce this work in the context of Tree House. There is a link in our bio!

1.5.23 Today we are pleased to introduce our Thrice Cream series! These unassuming little nuggets feature some of the most interesting barrel-aged beer we've made. Each blend in our Thrice Cream series begins as a purposefully-blended selection of Truth and Quadruple Shot aged between six and twenty-four months in bourbon barrels. For the strawberry variant, we blend in Truth, aged in a Cabernet Sauvignon barrel, and boy, is it beautiful! The fruity undertone from this thread is bolstered by adding strawberry powder to the conditioning tank. It's an absolute stunner! For the chocolate variant, barrels were chosen specifically for their heavy chocolate-forward appeal. We quite literally searched out the most milk chocolately barrels we could in the depths of our barrel warehouse. No other adjuncts were added. Sublime, drinking bliss! For the vanilla variant, one barrel in the blend was aged on vanilla beans within the barrel. The entire blend is then aged on vanilla beans in stainless to create an immensely decadent, rich, and confectionary treat for your gluttonous enjoyment in the glass. To celebrate this project, our friends from Maple Valley Creamery will be here today handing out Free Neopolitan Ice Cream samples for your enjoyment. Just five days into January, the team has produced incredible work and foreshadows a creative and energetic year to come!
