Every once in a while, a hop comes along that speaks to us in a way that few others do. Peacharine, from New Zealand, is one of those hops. Featuring incredible stone fruit notes layered throughout the experience, Jubilee is a showcase for this delightful novelty from the Land of the Long White Cloud.
Jubilee is fresh off our canning line today! When Peacharine hops first arrived in our hop coolers, we threw them a party. This Double IPA is a stone fruit extravaganza with impressions of mixed tropical fruit and citrus. With the trip’s energy reaching a fever pitch, we arrived @freestylehops in Upper Moutere, where Freestyle Managing Director Dave Dunbar greeted us. Our passion for hops mirrors David’s—he is obsessed with connecting the dots between how hops present themselves in the field and how they work out in a finished beer. Seasoned and well-traveled brewers understand that it is not always so clear, and the more experience you have out in the field, the clearer the connections become. The conversations during this stop got super technical; much of this back and forth was captured in an upcoming short film of our trip. This was the first of two stops at Freestyle - one to capture the essence of each variety’s peak on the bine and a second to ensure we had a chance to vet every lot grown after the harvest had concluded. During this stop and in years past, we’ve experienced Peacharine, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, Riwaka, and more on the bine at peak expression during the harvest. It would be hard to express in words what it is like to experience these hops in the field, so we say this with all of the sincerity in the world: we’ve made it our life’s work to attempt to bring you this experience in cans of Tree House. At the conclusion of our visit, out in the experimental field, we even had the chance to experience Chinook grown in New Zealand. If you’re a fan of Sap, you can imagine how exciting this moment was for us! Stay tuned, there will be one more post on this first stop to Freestyle, which will touch a bit more on their ethos. Freestyle has been super accommodating working with is to bring Peacharine to the US as quickly as possible, and you can experience it in fresh Trail Peacharine and Jubilee, currently available at Tree House. After a great day in Freestyle’s illustrious hop gardens, we were back at the coast for dinner to reflect on our new learnings and discuss the road ahead.

Today we are delighted to introduce the first new beer proper can in a very long time. And that beer is Jubilee! 🔥❤️🔥🔥❤️🔥🔥❤️🔥🔥❤️🔥 Featuring Peacharine hops in abundance, Jubilee is a beer worthy of the core lineup and one we enjoy so, so much.
Jubilee is made with the incredible Peacharine hop from New Zealand grown by our friends at Freestyle Hops. These hops were picked by us this spring and punch this beer up to profound levels of juiciness and drinkability. Don't miss it. #jubilee
Today we celebrate the triumphant return of Jubilee, a beer representing the best of our efforts at Tree House! Featuring Peacharine - a novel hop variety curated by our friends at Freestyle Hops in New Zealand - in unabashed abundance, this beer is astonishingly juicy with notes of summer peach and apricot. Given our excitement around reintroducing this beer, we worked to have the 2023 crop air-freighted directly to our door so we could enjoy this beer as fresh as humanly possible. It contains the first Peacharine in the country from the 2023 crop. Let's celebrate it's arrival together.
Pink and Jubilee represent the neverending creative and curious spirit of Tree House. Each featuring a rare, new, and novel hop variety, they carry a delightfully fresh flavor profile, offering a glimpse into two promising hops we believe could herald a new era of flavor and texture in our beer. They are both available now, and subsequent batches may be sparse for the time being as we await a fresh crop. Don’t wait on these two. Thank you for reading - have a great day!
1.11.23 Today we are pleased to introduce a brand new beer that we hope will stick around as a familiar core brand in our line-up. We have called it Jubilee! The reason for this stature is simple - this beer's taste, texture, and appeal hits heights that few others in our line-up do. One of the primary reasons for this is that in addition to our House IPA process, it contains Peacharine hops from our friends at Freestyle Hops in New Zealand. Peacharine is a novel hop with a bright future, in our opinion. Vivid stone fruit and citrus notes abound! Though it is hopped extremely intensively, we have priced Jubilee in line with other core beers with the hope that it can come around regularly for your enjoyment. Jubilee beautifully demonstrates our relentless desire to improve, seek out what’s new, and continue to offer you fresh, inventive, original beverages for your enjoyment. We hope you love it as much as we do. It is available everywhere that we sell beer today.
