Day Five of Glassuary features an old-school, iconic illustration from @keever, branded perfectly with our Old Man wordmark. A classic, quiet river scene is depicted. Today, the Curiosity series continues with an experimental hop variety we've been eager to use. For this release, we procured a curious new variety, CIP14, from our friends at Clayton Hops in New Zealand. This exciting hop is flush with Thiol precursors, compounds that are highly aromatic once unlocked by yeast during fermentation. Notes of pungent passionfruit, sweet pineapple, sugared pink grapefruit, and tropical zest fill the air from the pop of the can. The art adorning this proper can is by our good friend @keever and represents the transformative change of the seasons in a singular place. Fog Land is a Pacific Northwest Pilsner. Similar to a German Pilsner, hops play a major role in its profile; a thoughtful blend pays homage to its European origins while adding distinct American aromas. We chose two hand-selected varieties, Mt. Hood and American-grown Tettnanger hops. Fogland leads with soft notes of noble spice, chamomile, and cedar. Lorien hops, then adds aromas of lemon zest, melon, and wildflower honey. As the day slips behind the trees, the night reclaims its forest, dissolving the borders erected in the light. In secret, it lowers the heavens until they spill across the ground like smoke. Maple Spice Latte! With temperatures entering the negatives this weekend, we thought it was a good time to bring back the ultimate cozy, creamy latte. This iconic treat uses a blend of house-roasted coffees, oat milk, maple syrup, vanilla beans, and cinnamon sticks. In an arduous, hand-crafted process, we make our own maple spice syrup by simmering its ingredients in a steam kettle to achieve the desired taste and sweetness. We can always tell when the coffee department is preparing one of our seasonal lattes; the entire warehouse fills with the smell of fresh crushed spices and simmering sweet syrups. We've said it before, and we'll say it again: if you fancy yourself a true coffee lover, you need good decaf in your life. To avoid accidental all-nighters, we like to switch to our incredibly mellow, low-acidity Bokeh in the afternoon and evening. The beans we source for this blend are water processed to remove the caffeine; this uncommon process circumvents the need for chemicals and preserves the full richness of the beans. It is incredibly rich, with or without creamer, and sacrifices little in flavor or texture. 🚨 It’s here 🚨 The 2026 Brewer vs. Brewer 4-pack is available today in Boston, Charlton, Deerfield, Sandwich, Saratoga, and Tewksbury. On the can, you’ll find a QR code to vote for your favorite. Each pack also comes with an insert with the same QR code and additional information. This pack represents an awesome opportunity to get together with some friends and have a great time over a great set of beers. The beers are simply numbered and feature a common design this time around, so as not to influence your impression of the actual liquid. Additionally, the hop, malt, and yeast construct of each is not shared, as the perceived impression of certain ingredients also influences outcomes. We can assure you that each of the four is a delicious beer in its own right, but when enjoyed together, the pack is really something. You may learn something about your own palate in the process. The winner will be revealed in a future YouTube video, so we encourage you to get subscribed and enable notifications. If you are new to the channel, there is an incredible library of videos, including brewery tours, hop trips, macro beer histories and perceptions, and so much more. Billy Goat Hop Farm is nestled in a little corner of Colorado, growing some truly unique hops. The Kid is hopped with an entirely new blend with some relatively rare lineages; you don't want to miss this one. Utilizing a blend of Citra, Cascade, Multihead, and Copper hops, notes of spring pine sap, grapefruit peel, guava, fruit punch, and orange zest burst from its sticky head. A true representation of Colorado's terroir, we are reminded once again how small operations off the beaten path can have an indelible impact on our craft. We took the photo that graces the can high on Quandary Peak, not long after discovering this little farm entirely by chance. It's neat how life can work out sometimes. This balmy delight starts with our own Richly Rum Blanc, coconut, lime, and pineapple juice and is balanced by a splash of our own Absinthe Verte. This sweet and mysterious emerald spirit uses real wormwood and a bushel of other aromatic herbs, adding a beautiful green tint to this sweet treat. Even when we’re having fun with simple ingredients, we strive to add a layer of complexity and intrigue to the experience.
