Today, we are pleased to introduce a stout brimming with intention and purpose. Threads of Time showcases the intricate web of events, experiences, and moments that have shaped the Tree House experience in the last five years. It is comprised of stout aged in Heaven Hill and Buffalo Trace barrels for one, three, and five years and then meticulously blended to highlight the best attributes of each vintage. We experience a syrupy chocolate character balanced by a potent bourbon-forward finish and a varied complexity that only comes from extensive patience. The chocolate-forward flavor weaves through layers of rich caramel and vanilla-like oak, creating evolving threads of taste that reveal the history of its long journey to your glass. Brewed in March of 2019, 2022, and 2023. In keeping with the trend of coffee releases from East Africa, we sourced this particular single-origin Kenyan coffee through a collective of various smallholder farmers of the Kamwangi washing station in the Kirinyaga region. Like hops to a beer brewer, the roasting team has a similar passion for sourcing unique coffee cherry varietals. This lot, in particular, is composed of SL28, Ruiru 11, and Batian - all three heavily dominating in quality and yield amongst the volcanic soils and highest elevations of the Kirinyaga region - resulting in a bright acidity and savory finish that makes Kenyan coffee so special. Once de-pulped and washed, these particular coffee cherries at the Kamwangi washing station are fermented for 24 hours and then washed once more, totaling 72 for the whole process. American IPA - @mainemalthouse is one in a series of pale, hoppy beers that feature malted barley exclusively from local boutique maltsters across America. Each batch contains the same combination of hand-selected, American-grown hops, enabling differences in the malt to shine. This particular iteration of our new American IPA utilizes malt exclusively from Maine Malt House, a family-run extension of the 2,500-acre Buck Farms in Mapleton, Maine. The malt house translates decades of farming experience into serving craft brewers. Like hops, malted barley conveys significant terroir unique to each region and processing philosophy. Today we are thrilled to release a fresh Kinini Village Cold Brew batch! The Kinini Coffee Cooperation comprises 85% women farmers, who pool their efforts between neighboring towns and villages to improve overall quality and generational impact on their communities. Collaboration and teamwork make Tree House thrive, so when we heard about this effort, we could not miss the chance to join the journey. The name of this coffee may sound familiar. Previously, we've used this washed coffee as a component of our Aurora blend, but because of how the samples were tasting this harvest year, we wanted to put this coffee out on its own. Rwanda is a favorite origin of coffee for our head roaster, so there is all the more reason to highlight this coffee on its own.
