We make this whiskey from scratch and it helps to support our ever-growing inventory of large cooperage currently maturing. … Our love for the base spirit of our Kola Coffee Liqueur inspired us to rest it in our used Bourbon casks, resulting in a truly magical creation. The complex mash bill for our Kola Single Malt Whiskey, crafted by our exceptional brew team, features a blend of caramel, chocolate, and coffee malt that lend a rich aroma of roasted coffee, chocolate, and butterscotch. Carefully distilled in our small 250-Liter still to preserve all of its delectable flavors, this crystal clear whiskey has a sweet, chocolate ganache taste that undergoes a wonderful transformation when rested in our spent Bourbon casks. The resulting elixir presents notes of honey, maize, cocoa powder, vanilla, and oak on the nose, while the palate is flooded with sweet grains, muesli, and dried fruit. This whiskey is a truly savory sip, perfect for enjoying by the fire.

We are packaging a fresh run today. There is a small amount remaining from the previous batch. It is important to know that we keep your beer cold at all times and it is always fresh.

We commissioned this original painting by artist Debbie Criswell to grace a new pale ale called Heavenly Peace. An edition of fifty artist’s prints are available in Charlton until they are gone. If you happen to miss the print, the beer, brewed with Peacharine hops, is blissful, and is graced by the same artwork.
12.17.22 Juicy All the Way. This delightful holiday-themed beverage is brewed with hand-selected American hops enhanced by the addition of orange honeybush tea and sweet orange peel. Pouring a glowing orange color into your glass, it tastes like a juicy extravaganza pf citrus and tropical fruit.
12.17.22 Nomad Oak Nomad Oak is a Czech dark lager (tmavé pivo) brewed with authentic light and dark floor malted barley, an assortment of roasted malts, and carefully selected noble hops. Following primary conditioning, it is laid to rest in American Oak for an indeterminate amount of time to soften its flavor profile and to allow us to capture its moment of peak maturity. Nomad Oak is the crown jewel of our lager program. Enjoy it blissfully with friends and family alike.
12.17.22 After careful deliberation and assessment, we worked on a coffee @treehousecoffeecompany that exhibits delicate flavors of milk chocolate, cinnamon, and molasses. The base beer features flavors and aromas of toffee, caramel, chocolate, brown bread, and black coffee - a lovely pairing for the delicate, lightly roasted coffee for which it shares the glass. Though this beer is rich with flavor and complexity, it drinks smoothly and easily… an ideal pairing for a hearty winter meal or a day spent on the ice. A winter treat, indeed!
12.17.22 Saturday surprise #1 - A fresh round of Bear, our Brown Ale! Bear has all the characteristics of a classic English Brown Ale with a distinct American twist. It pours a nearly opaque dark brown with a sticky caramel colored head. Aromas of toffee, caramel, chocolate, and earthy hops prep the palate for the flavor to come. We taste toffee, brown bread, caramel candy, varied nuttiness, and a melange of dark fruit. The earthy hops dance throughout and are balanced beautifully by a brown sugar sweetness. Delicious. Bear is one of our favorite food beers - it pairs brilliantly with nearly everything… including nothing! It is a lovely and unique example of a brown ale. Brewed in honor of those who leave a lasting and influential impression on our lives.

12.15.22 @treehousedistillery Our Grappa demonstrates just how much more artisanal magic can be conjured when you apply a little effort and collaboration with your local agricultural community. It begins with Marquette pomace from our good friends over at Agronomy Farm Vineyard. Pomace consists of the grape skins and seeds leftover from pressing in the production of wine. The American hybrid grape, Marquette, is a deeply fruit-forward grape with a delightful floral aroma. This pomace is then distilled into our Grappa! Like wine, our grappa is best served with food: cheese, nuts, and charcuterie are all perfect accompaniments, but it is also wonderful as an after dinner digestif. Notes of stewed strawberries and raspberry compote paired are intertwined with black tea on the nose, while the grape seeds provide a delectable spiciness on the palate.
