Pouring a clean chocolatey color into the glass, it carries notes of fresh coffee, bread crust, nuttiness, and mild caramel sweetness balanced by familiar and ever-present chocolate and caramel-forward coffee flavor.

Kaffee Bergsteiger is a rendition of our Schwarzbier conditioned on House-roasted coffee. Once this Dark German Lager completes its rest in our stainless steel horizontals, our cellar team collaborates with our roastery team to find a complementary blend of beans to bolster its otherwise restrained roast and cocoa flavors. The result is an effortless modern twist on a beer style over 500 years old. It's a favorite among our production team and goes through several rounds of "taste testing" off the tank before canning day.
