Steinbock! We love Bock beer. It was about time we made one of the lesser-known styles, the Maibock, a lighter iteration within the Bock family. In this grain bill, we utilized heirloom Pilsner, Vienna, and Munich “Barke” malts, a small-scale project from the legendary Wyermann maltsters. Underneath its sticky cap of white foam, these resurrected varieties bring complex notes of biscuit and malty caramel that fade into a honey sweetness. Complimenting its rustic grain bill, Hallertau and Saphir hops carry subtle notes of herbal spice and mild florality.
