Year of the Horse

Year of the Horse pours a glowing orange color into your glass and delivers a wallop of hoppy notes into the air! Our friends at Eggers harkened back to a world where our agrarian lives were deeply intertwined with a sense of mysticism; this lot of Nelson was harvested under the lunar eclipse of the harvest moon.

Year of the Horse! 🐎 This Double explodes with notes of crushed white grape, passionfruit soda, lychees, and mango nectar! Our friends at Eggers took a conceptual project to new heights with this one. The lot of Nelson used in this beer was harvested under the lunar eclipse of the harvest moon. Heady stuff. The Year of the Horse traditionally symbolizes vitality, progress, and passion. The horse represents freedom from old patterns and unbridled authenticity. This year happens to be a Fire Horse year, which only takes place every 60 years, and is thought to intensify these qualities that imbue our journey.
