Tree of Possibility is a pure barrel-aged barleywine primarily showcasing several standout barrels that have been aged for over two years while also weaving in a small portion of barleywine aged for 12 months from select bourbon barrels. The beer, the wood, and time itself have given us a wonderfully complex and full-bodied beer overflowing with character. We taste and smell rich caramel, maple brown sugar, and warming yet restrained barrel heat, with underlying notes of exotic fruit leather, smoky tobacco, and dark chocolate. Life, much like the intricate blend of flavors in this barleywine, is a dance of evolving elements, constantly unfolding.
