This Land Is Your Land is a Double IPA featuring an American classic, Citra. The senses are greeted first by a charge of Citra liquid hop extract, creating intense aromas of pine forests and candied citrus peel. We then blended our favorite hand-selected lots of Citra, lending notes of fresh orange juice, overripe mango, and ruby red grapefruit.
This Land Is Your Land is a Double IPA featuring an American classic, Citra. A charge of Citra liquid hop extract hits first, intensely dank and resinous, layered with candied citrus peel. From there, we blended our favorite hand-selected lots of Citra, lending notes of fresh orange juice, overripe mango, and ruby red grapefruit. The name comes from Woody Guthrie's 1940 song, insisting that the country belongs to everyone in it. Nearly sixty years earlier, Emma Lazarus made the same case in just a few passages: "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free..." These are among the most famous lines in American history, from her sonnet The New Colossus, written to help fund the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty. Twenty years later, they were cast in bronze and mounted inside the very pedestal they had helped pay for. Both Woody and Emma were effectively saying the same thing: This place is yours. Stay tuned - we have a few more beers upcoming to mark this year's big milestone. 🗽
