We've always been proponents of maintaining a Beginner's Mind while striving to improve at our vocation. Our newest Double IPA, The Student and the Master, celebrates the slow journey of honing one's craft. For a long time, there was a great distance between the student and the master. The work is precise, quick, and intricate. As the student observes, it starts to take shape within the process. The beer's intention was to take a flagship recipe and ferment it with a different yeast to experience the results. We taste notes of homemade OJ popsicles, mango smoothies, and grapefruit sorbet!
