The Prodigal Haze Part II combines Citra, Nelson, and Rakau to create a symphony of tropical fruit flavor. Brewed with pale malt and a hint of extra light caramel malt, it has a hefty malt body to balance and propel the nearly eight-pound-per-barrel dry hop. Pouring a hazy, deep yellow color into your glass, it explodes on the palate with notes of candied citrus, mango nectar, and ripe papaya.
The Prodigal Haze, Part II. This beer is something else; I'll tell you what. Here is an unvarnished look at what the cellar team experienced when transferring this beast to the brite tank, lifted right from cellar notes: Kyle: Aroma: Fresh citrus, Tangerines, Grapefruit, Sweet Peach Color: Murky Yellow/Orange Body/Mouthfeel: Thick mouthfeel, soft Taste: Huge tropical fruit notes, heavy citrus and grapefruit, ripe peach juice, pithy grapefruit, and some hop resin. Bitterness is there but not too much, smooth with no hint of booze. Joe: Aroma: Big OJ, tangerine, peach Color: Pale orange, super hazy.
Body/Mouthfeel: Full body, thick sip. Taste: Citrus heavy, oj, tangerine, citrus zest. hints of peach with a touch of mango also. Bitterness is light, finishes smooth, and is slightly dank on the finish. As for me, I am getting all of the above with a heavy melon note to boot. This beer is electric. #productphotography #productphotodaily #photography #craftbeer #treehousebrewing #beergram #beerstagram #beersandcameras #beerlover #beerbeerbeer #beerme #beergeek #beertography #beernerd #fujifilm #gfx100II @fujifilmx_us@profoto
