Right Place is an oak-conditioned rendition of our Czech-style lager, Shipshape. Upon the conclusion of primary fermentation, it is transferred to horizontal oak for further maturation until the flavor profile exhibits peak balance and enjoyability. We taste straw, bready malts, noble hops, and mild lemon all softened by a gentle oak character throughout.

Right Place is a special beer that requires a significant amount of lagering time as it progresses from a spunded fermenter to a horizontal stainless tank, to an oak foeder, and then back to stainless for finishing. Our Czech Lager is crisp and zippy, and after undergoing an extended rest in our oak foeder, its profile is softened but carries a distinct dry tannin finish.
