Nightcap is a novel barrel-blended Imperial Stout conditioned atop Bokeh Decaf cold brew from Tree House Coffee Roastery. Bokeh is notable for its method of decaffeination and thoughtful composition. The Mexico coffee base is a fully traceable decaffeinated mountain water-processed coffee from the Yajalon province of Chiapas, while the Swiss water-processed Ethiopian component comes from the Shakiso Tero out-growers in Guji. Water process decaffeination is superior to harsh chemical solvent methods because it naturally removes caffeine while preserving the coffee's full flavor profile without introducing potentially harmful chemicals. It pours an appealing, syrupy black color into the glass. It carries notes of melted chocolate, caramel, and mixed dark fruits, balanced by the heft of our custom decaf coffee blend.
