He’s just a little guy 🌿. Little Fern is a New Zealand–style IPA brewed with a slew of juicy hops. Peacharine, Nelson, Taiheke, and Waimea burst with notes of citrus, peach, lime, and white grape. This is our only Fern series release featuring Taiheke hops, a variety that fits perfectly with the series’ focus on terroir. Its lineage is cross-continental, consisting of American Cascade, English Fuggles, and the Russian variety Serebrianka. Through countless generations, its characteristics still carry the pine and spice notes of its predecessors, along with a distinct, fruity, lime-like quality shared by many New Zealand hops. It’s a wonderful addition to this approachable Single IPA within the series.
We love Double IPA, but singles have been brewing through the Tree House juice machine with more regularity this summer. Little Fern is a Single IPA utilizing all hand-selected New Zealand hops. It carries tropical notes wholly unique to their terroir, and we can't get enough of it. We've spent an enormous amount of time through recipe creation and process tweaks to retain the same level of hop saturation and the tropical pop of a bigger beer in the form of a Single IPA.
