Truth is the ultimate expression of Tree House Barrel-aged stout. Masterfully blended from our best barrels aged between eighteen and twenty-six months old, it carries notes of chocolate candy, sweet vanilla-like oak, tootsie rolls, and baker’s chocolate. It’s elegant, balanced, and intentional—a testament to the artistry and patience poured into each barrel.

Double Barrel Truth. We love Bourbon. We love it so much, we make it every single week, fill barrels with the young spirit, and cart them to our rickhouse for aging. In the meantime, we also enjoy drinking it. Regarding today's Truth release, patience was rewarded. The bourbon character is up front and center in this variation of Truth. After aging for one year in barrels that previously held bourbon, it is then re-racked into a second, freshly emptied selection. This secondary extended aging brings forth robust aromas of toffee ice cream and notes of woody spice. It is a maximalist barrel-aged stout in every sense of the word, and overflows with intense flavor and complexity. It is perhaps our favorite of the bunch. Available now.
Today we are pleased to release Double Barrel Truth for the first time - in many ways the culmination of an effor that began all the way back in 2013. Brewed with intention from the beginning for it's multiple barrel slumber, this massively decadent and complex treat carries notes of toffee ice cream, milk chocolate, and bourbony vanilla. It's complexity is difficult to describe - a character only possible with studied patience and diligence in the barrel cellar.
