Stagnation is not in our nature.

Stagnation is not in our nature. Breeders of hops are perpetually engaged in cultivating novel varieties, which fascinates us as craftspeople. Our interest lies not only in the diverse array of exciting new characteristics these new varieties bring forth but also in the intriguing manner in which they undergo biotransformation when interacting with various yeast strains. Our latest exploration of this ideal manifests in our newest beer series, drawing inspiration from this winter’s Data Set series and elevated by our excitement for our 11th Anniversary Double IPA. These new beers harmonize exceptionally well with new New Zealand hop varieties recently discovered in our travels. Contrary to most yeast explorations in the Curiosity series, this one has some staying power for us. Velvet, Silk, Satin, and Tree of Discovery, pictured here, introduce this blend in a larger series of beers embodying our restless spirit for progress and innovation. We find them to be intensely flavorful and aromatic, veering more towards vivid tropical notes and retaining more of the pure hop essence of the hops they contain rather than the unique melon, stone fruit, and sweet fruit profile typically found in our House yeast. Of course, our core beers remain unchanged and taste fantastic of late, thanks to diligence on the brew house and better hop selections at every turn. We do not wish to rest on our laurels, and we hope you have a chance to try this series - we find them to be delightful. Thank you for reading, and have a great rest of your day.
