To celebrate our third year of providing fresh beer to the Quiet Corner of Connecticut, we decided to push our Double IPA profile into new territory. Drawing inspiration from our ongoing fascination with novel yeasts, we created a blend that transforms our familiar hoppy profile. A warm fermentation coaxes an array of tropical esters, creating a juicy foundation beneath an amplified dry hop. Citra, Nelson, and Riwaka create waves of lychee juice, white grape, limeade, grapefruit peel, and creamy mango smoothies. More often than not, a few years feel like the blink of an eye. In this case, however, looking out across the farm, the change is apparent. Our fruit trees are stretching skyward, the berry patches are becoming more plentiful, and every field is slowly growing into the vision we had when we first set foot on these rolling hills. While we've had a steady stream of varied, creative releases, this is just the beginning of our story.

This Double IPA is created with a massive kettle charge of Australian and American hops. It opens in the glass with huge notes of ripe pineapple, pithy citrus, and dank saturated hops. As it warms it shows its depth and complexity. . . Sweet hints of malt intermingle with straight Tropicana. It has a soft but pointed bitterness and a rich, velvety mouth feel.

Our Double IPA! We smell a ton of peach on the nose, with complimentary notes of orange and passionfruit. The flavor is similar with a blast of citrus fruit & peach quickly followed by a bounty of tropical fruit. A lingering and pleasant saturated hop oil finish awaits. . . . A real juice bomb of a beer!

Haze Guava Marshmallow is Haze conditioned on mounds of sugary treats and we add fresh guava to create a distinctly juicy and tropical layer of Haze, which is already loaded with citrus and stone fruit characteristics. The resulting beer carries waves of ripe peach notes, encircled by aromas of mellow marshmallows with guava on the nose. Haze Guava Marshmallow is creamy, soft, and pillowy, with a dollop of nostalgia fit for a sundae. Enjoy!

Woodstock Double IPA with Citra & Mosaic is a novel twist on our base Double IPA, adding a delightful accent to its constructed simplicity. Pouring a glowing yellow color into your glass, it showcases memorable notes of citrus and tropical fruit, with a distinctly soft bitterness that is both quenching and inviting on the finish.
