Triple Drippy is a Triple IPA pouring a pale yellow color with a swell of white foam rising above the glass. This iteration of our Drip series utilizes a massive blend of Southern Hemisphere hops and an increased volume of crystal malts for a chewy body. Citra saturates the beer with notes of grapefruit candy, mango smoothies, and orange sorbet. A charge of legendary New Zealand varieties, Nelson and Peacharine, bursts with sweet notes of summer peaches, passionfruit candy, white sangria, and ripe melon. Slightly off to the side of the canvas, where the hand has transcribed the mind's eye into reality, lies the evidence of many days' work. Brushes thick with color have dripped onto the jars that hold them, while paper lies crumpled with sketches and blots of abandoned ideas. Then there's the most humble abstraction of all: the palette itself, a smattering of spring colors and a topographical byproduct of conscious creation.

For this curious exploration into the art and science of hoppy beers, we experimented with stressing our yeast in new and untrialled ways to coax exclusive and intriguing fruit esters from fermentation. The result, paired with massive doses of potent American Hops, is a hugely aromatic beer with a soft flavor profile featuring singular notes of honeydew melon, ripe tropical fruit, a hint of yellow raspberry, and sweet overripe pineapple. A simple, natural effervescence provides the signature fluffy mouthfeel we have come to know and love from Tree House.
